Membership of Corporate Sustainability Initiatives




Corporación Financiera Alba, S.A. is a member of several institutions and initiatives related to environmental, social and good governance issues.

• Spanish Issuers Association (Emisores Españoles).
Founded in 2009 by a group of Spanish securities issuers, with the aim of responding to the challenges arising from this status, as well as to the challenges faced by Spanish issuers of securities and safeguarding their interests in the domestic markets. One of its main objectives is the development of high standards of good corporate governance. Emisores Españoles is also a member of European Issuers, which has similar aims at the European level.

Alba is member of Emisores Españoles since its creation in November 2009.

• United Nations Global Compact.
This is the UN initiative that leads the world in corporate sustainability, with a mandate to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the business sector.

Alba is Signatory Member of the Global Compact since January 2016.

• The Spanish Tax Agency’s Code of Good Taxation Practice.
Developed and approved by the Big Business Forum, its aim is to promote a reciprocally cooperative relationship between the Tax Agency relationship of reciprocal cooperation between the Tax Agency and the companies adhering to it, based on the principles of transparency, trust, good faith and loyalty between the parties, to improve the application of the Spanish tax system by increasing legal certainty and the application of responsible tax policies.

Alba has adhered to this Code since December 2020.
